Neighbors put out “yard waste” which I asked if I could collect; they welcomed my intiative and wished me good luck. From six bags I got some chopped up vegetables, some potential vines, and other debris.

I also distributed clippings in other areas of the yard. I hope to get a good variety of wild things growing as soon as possible. I want to foster diversity and fertility.
