Beetle update

The Harlequin beetle population enjoyed a resurgence — but I spotted soldier beetles on the tomato plants nearby, so predators are finally moving in!

Even having destroyed close to 700 harlequin beetle eggs, they came back. The family is enjoying the delicious kale. At least someone (or something) is.

I spotted the garden’s first ladybug today, which I hope means more ladybugs in the future. Also, I hope it’s a ladybug.
